French courses

Can I specify which components/elements I mainly want to learn or improve?

Of course, we constantly tailor our courses to your needs.

What is the enrolment process?

The enrolment process consists of the following steps:
1. We first determine your starting level by means of a questionnaire.
2. You specify in which period you would like to follow a course (see also "planning" in the menu)
3. If the selected period is free, you will be sent a training contract in French (with a summary in English) to be signed accompanied by an invoice for a down payment of xx percent to reserve your place on the course. The contract also contains the rules for cancellation.
4. The remaining balance must be received no later than two weeks before the start of the course.

Is it a problem if I arrive without a car?

No, we provide transportation to and from the TGV station of Le Creusot. You will have everything you need in Saint-Honoré.  If you want to go on the occasional trip, you can rent a car at our centre.

What should I bring and what do I have to arrange?

If you are not from the EU, you must arrange a visa, see:
http://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr

Furthermore, you only need to bring a pen, paper, a dictionary (preferably a paid version on a smartphone) and walking shoes.
Remember your insurance!

Is Work your Way to France an accredited educational institution?

Yes, Work your Way to France is registered with the prefecture of the region Bourgogne-Franche-Comté under number 27580073858.
In 2021, we obtained the QUALIOPI certification. Click here for more information on this French state certification.

After completing the course you will receive a certificate from the institute.
The course is based on the requirements of the European Framework of Reference (CEFR) with regard to various language levels, after which you will be ready to take an official exam at your level elsewhere.

Guidance & Coaching

If I’m not planning to emigrate, does the French courses still make sense for me?

Yes, all the themes that are used in the programme contribute to the acquisition of knowledge of the French language and culture.

I need some guidance, but I’m living quite far from away from your office. Could you come to my place?

Yes, that is possible. Contact us to discuss the terms.
