Introductory course medical French

An introductory course in Medical French
for doctors and paramedical professionals who are considering working in France

A group course (4 – 8 persons) in which you learn both the grammar of ‘everyday’ French and the specific technical terms and conversational skills for medical consultations.

After this course, you will be able to better evaluate the possibilities for your new future in France and to further develop them.

Duration: 3 days (Wednesday to Friday)

Dates: 20 – 22 May 2026

Day programme:
9.00 am to 12.30 pm : Group lesson in Medical French;
French Conversation class focusing on medical subjects, grammar and vocabulary acquisition;

12.30 to 13.30 pm : lunch in French

13.30 to 16.30 pm : Group lesson in Medical French;
French Conversation class focusing on medical subjects, grammar and vocabulary acquisition;

The teacher:
Maarten Stroes, (Medical) French teacher with extensive experience in providing Medical French courses. Since 2010, he has given an intensive Medical French courses to more than one hundred care professionals. He has also developed training materials for more than twenty-five different medical and paramedical disciplines.

Location:

This course, offered by the Work your Way to France training centre, takes place in Lille (one hour from Paris by TGV).

Rates:
750 for the French lessons, literature + teaching material; lunch during the course days and the cost of activities.
