Come along to our orientation weekend in Burgundy.
Information weekend for GPs > from 17 to 19 October 2025
This year, Work your Way to France is organising an information weekend for general practitioners. During this weekend, you will be able to :
– Exchanges with healthcare professionals who have been working in France for some time
– Visits to the Maison de Santé in Corbigny and Tannay
– A mini-course in medical French to help you with your projects
– Various information on the steps to take if you want to set up in France (via an accountancy agency)
– Introduction to the Morvan / Vézelay region
Any GP wishing to practise in France is welcome to attend.
Several villages of ‘The Communauté de Communes de Tannay, Brinon, Corbigny’ are offering you a full programme including accommodation and catering during these three days.
The programme:
Friday 17th October
Between 6.00 pm and 7.00 pm > Arrival at the gîte in Corbigny
Welcome
Meal in local restaurant
Saturday 18th October
Speakers :
Several healthcare professionals from both health centers
A chartered accountant
Maarten Stroes, medical French trainer and coordinator of the registration procedure in France
8.30am > Breakfast at the gîte
9.30am to 12.00pm > Information programme at the Maison de Santé Pluridisciplinaire (MSP) in Corbigny
12.00 to 1.00 pm > Lunch on site and tour of the MSP premises
1.00 pm to 3.00 pm > Continuation of the information programme in the MSP of Tannay
15h00 to 16h30 > Visit to the villages of Tannay and Corbigny
17h00 to 19h00 > Information on learning French (medical) in the form of a course
8.00 pm > Special event / meal
Sunday 19th October
8.30am > Breakfast at the gîte
9.30am to 11.30am > Visit to Morvan region & Lake of Pannecières
11.30 am > End of the programme
NB We speak French, English and Dutch (and understand Spanish very well).
